Facinho never asks for your password: avoid scams

Updated Oct 14, 20262 min read

On this page

Facinho never asks for your password, 2FA code, card details or documents through chat, email, WhatsApp or Discord. We also never negotiate anything outside the platform. If someone asks for any of these, it is a scam.

What Facinho never does

  • Ask for the password of your Facinho account or your game account, not even "just to check".
  • Ask for your 2FA code or recovery codes.
  • Ask for your card number, expiry date or security code.
  • Ask for a document or selfie by message. Identity verification only happens inside the flow on the website.
  • Accept or request payment outside checkout, such as PIX straight to a seller.
  • Send the password of a purchased account through WhatsApp, Discord or support email.

Signs of a scam

  • A message that rushes you ("your account will be blocked today").
  • A request to leave the site and arrange things on another app.
  • A link that looks like ours but has a different address.
  • Someone claiming to be from Facinho and offering a discount or refund in exchange for a code.

How to stay safe

  1. Always access the site through the official address typed by you: facinhosmurfs.com.br or mercado.facinhosmurfs.com.br (when it is live).
  2. Turn on 2FA. See How to turn on 2FA.
  3. Use a unique password that you do not use on other sites.
  4. View the details of purchased accounts only in "My purchases" (Mercado Facinho) or in the delivery email (store).
  5. Talk to sellers only through the order chat.

If you have already sent some information

  1. Change your account password now.
  2. Sign out of all devices.
  3. If you sent your 2FA code or recovery codes, tell the team through the chat.
  4. If you gave out card details, contact your bank.
  5. Tell us what happened, with screenshots. The security team will review the case.
