Paying by card at Facinho: details and confirmation

To pay by card at Facinho, choose "card" at checkout and fill in the details on the page itself. The payment is processed by Stripe and you do not leave the site.

Details asked at checkout

• card number, expiry date and security code;
• cardholder's name;
• date of birth, because the site is only for people over 18;
• CPF, if you are in Brazil.

Outside Brazil, the payment is made by card automatically.

Step by step

1. At checkout, choose credit card.
2. Fill in the card and cardholder details.
3. Confirm the payment.
4. If your bank asks for a confirmation in its app, complete it there and return to the page.
5. When the payment is approved, the account is released: by email in the store, or in "My purchases" on Mercado Facinho.

Bank confirmation

Your bank may ask for an extra confirmation in its app. If that happens, complete the confirmation so the payment can be approved.

How we handle card data

Card details are entered in the secure payment environment. From your CPF, we keep only an irreversible code (hash) and two digits, to identify the purchase. Facinho never asks for your card number through chat, email, WhatsApp or Discord.

Fees

On Mercado Facinho, the buyer pays no extra fee on card.

If an error occurs

• Check that the details were typed correctly.
• Check that the card is enabled for online purchases and has enough limit.
• Try another card or pay with PIX.
